Raki lives in one of the largest communities in Pushkar surrounded by many folk artists. She has been dancing since childhood. Raki has toured and performed in Europe and beyond. She is well known for the performance stages in Pushkar. Raki is a co-founder of the Kalbeliya Arts Academy, a learning center that provides literacy training and meals to school-age children in her community. For over ten years Raki has been a regular teacher at Shakti School of Dance headed up by Colleena Shakti. She has a large student following and many of her students train with her for many years. Raki’s students appreciate her attention to detail and her adjustments to each student’s learning pace.

Raki speaks Hindi, Rajasthani and English.

Carolina has a degree in psychology, and she currently has a career as a professional dancer and dance costume designer. In 2016, she traveled to India for the first time. There she got acquainted to the dance and music of the Kalbeliya community in the city of Pushkar. Soon after she took her first Kalbeliya dance class with Raki. Fully endorsed into the dance style, he soon (2019 & 2020) returned to India, where she trained with multiple Kalbeliya teachers from Pushkar, Jaipur and Jodhpur.
