Khatu Sapera is one of the first generation stage dancers of the Jodhpur Kalbeliya style. Her movers are powerful, sharp yet graceful.

She is a world-famous folk artist and has graced hundreds of national and international stages. She has toured the world with many performance troupes, including Musafir. Khatu has taught hundreds of students Kalbeliya dance and sparks joy through her teaching and dancing style. Khatu’s connection with her students online is as if they were in her home studio. She is happy to have you in her zoom room.

Nalika has always been attracted to Indian dance, music, and culture especially the art forms from Rajasthan. Her first dance training was classical ballet and modern ballet at her age 8-12. After becoming an adult, she started Yoga training in 2003 and visited Rishikesh (India) in 2006. At the same time she met world renown bellydancer Mishaal and started to learn from her (2007-2011). Mishaal invited Queen Harish (2008) to Tokyo. Then she decided to visit to Queen Harish and went to Jaisalmer (Rajasthan) in 2009. From then onwards, she visited Rajasthan every year to train with local dancers in multiple Rajasthani styles. She is currently also learning Indian classical dance. She organizes regular dance tours to Rajasthan for her students.
